In late September 2016, I installed a personal weather station that feeds weather readings to Weather Underground. We don't have an official weather station in the village, although private stations are maintained at a couple of sites 5 and more miles distant. Besides freeing me from checking my analog rain gauge, the new system will afford records of many weather parameters over time.
